Amanda Palmer - UkeleleHead
Don't know if anyone else has posted this yet, I did have a quick check but couldn't see it.
I find Amanda Palmer patchy sometimes - love her debut album Who Killed Amanda Palmer?, but that may be just because it's Ben Folds-produced.
However, this is quite a little gem she's come up with - the songs of Radiohead on a Ukelele. I was a little wary, thinking it might be gimmicky, but the songs are actually treated really nicely, and it comes off as a good short album. Only about 50p to download too.

Idioteque comes off particularly nice.
And her blog on the subject is a great insight into how the music business works nowadays :

And while you're there, try out Who Killed Amanda Palmer? Free to listen online, and voluntary donation for download too, a la In Rainbows.

I bought that too
I paid more than the minimum for it though, because I think she's going about things the right way.
Amanda Palmer hasd been trying to get herself out of her record label deal for some time, and now that the she's done it she really does seem to be sticking to her ideals about making a living from her music.
I think I liked Idioteque best, but Exit Music (For a Film) is gorgeous too.
That was about as welcome
as a fart in a spacesuit.
She is ace
Evelyn Evelyn is my favorite concept album about conjoined twins raised in a chicken coop ever.
It seems to have been selling quite well
"In one three minute period, her fanbase snapped up $15,000 in music and merch. It didn’t let up much from there: 4,000 digital EPs were sold, the vinyl sold out, most of the high end packages disappeared in minutes, and at the time of this writing, it looks like every other package will be gone in a matter of days.
