Am I missing something?

Just got one of those recommendation emails from Amazon:
"Greetings from Amazon.co.uk,
As someone who has purchased or rated Let Fury Have the Hour: The Punk Rock Politics of Joe Strummer by Antonino D'Ambrosio, you might like to know that Make Sweet the Minds of Men: Early Opera and Tragic Catharsis is now available. You can order yours for just £37.40 (15% off the RRP) by following the link below...."
what would they have in common?

Weren't
Early Opera, Joe's side project when he was in the Clash and Tragic Catharsis were the band he joined after the Clash split ?.
Maybe Amazon knows you're a reader of The Word...
and as such could be interested in both opera and The Clash.
The (boring) correct answer is likely to be
that the one person who's bought the first book has also bought the second - the system goes by actual purchases, not what someone else thinks the connected items should be.
