Sometimes I think...

there is too much stuff in this world.

Normally I would agree with you Patrick.

There is way too much stuff in the world.

This however looks ace, I want it!

I'm with you Patrick

That seems breathtakingly pointless to me. I expressed this opinion at work and was informed that it was 'fun'. Strange, I thought it was the closest thing I've seen to actually watching paint dry.

Yes...

I mean not everything has to have a point, but that just seems a redundant exercise to me. Please try to elicit from your workmates exactly what their definition of "fun" is. Mine is somewhat different.

Yep. Don't get it.

It's like the Visualiser in iTunes. What's the flippin' point? Generally, if I'm listening to music on my iPhone, the phone itself is in my pocket. I'm not staring at the bloody thing.

Weird.

"What's that, daddy?"

"Well, son, a long time ago, when we wanted to nick music, we didn't have filesharing websites, so we used to have to use these things.."

And we suffered for it

Because we always ended up with 2 - 3 seconds of Bruno Brookes on the end of each track. Home tapings killing music kids!
Edit: Mind you it would be easier to explaincassettes to your children than the success of Bruno Brookes.
