After They Were Famous

Listening to last week's Podcast, Clare Grogan mentioned inventing the name "Tallulah Gosh". This reminded me of seeing recently that Amelia Fletcher of the 80s indie band Tallulah Gosh (and backing vocals on some of the early The Wedding Present records) is now Chief Economist at the Office Of Fair Trading. Anyone else know of members of bands who have gone on to more notable careers or achievements in other fields?

Hasn't this been featured in Word before?

I seem to remember something about one of Runrig being chief whip for the SNP and Louise Wener of Sleeper being a successful novelist.

Other than that, um... Billie Piper? Ricky Gervais?!
