After market V festival tickets - help

Thomas the Rhymer's picture

OK. I foolishly said I'd be the responsible adult and accompany my son and two of his friends to V festival as they are underage.

Unfortunately, I did not manage to get through to buy any tickets before they sold out but somehow his two friends did. Result is that two friends now have tickets they can't use unless I get two tickets so we can go with them.

Question for the Massive. Which is the best site to get tickets? I want it to be trustworthy and for the premium I'm resigned to paying not to be too huge.

Any suggestions

Efestivals

Is a good site to rummage around in and good at pointing out iffy resellers.

Scarlet mist.

Ethical ticket resellers for usually face value. Efestivals won't be much help unless it's to tell you about official resales as their users are incredibly hostile towards ticket touts so if anyone posts that they have tickets for sale on ebay they're usually deleted.

Thank you for the suggestions

One more question:

Are prices likely to go up as the event gets nearer, or go down as the initial rush dies down?

Go down

as the sellers get more nervous that they will be stuck with a worthless piece of paper. Fortune favours the patient. also keep an eye on 'gumtree' in your area for any genuine sellers.
