A Word perfect Christmas morning?....

The wife is making Eggs and hash browns, we've already had "Stormcock" on vinyl, and now we've got champagne on ice and Steve Still's first solo LP, maybe Fairport next.
This afternoon we'll have Father Ted's Christmas Special and "Bad Santa"
Tomorrow we're off on tour playing blues finishing in Byron Bay.
Life, on the whole is good.

Happy Christmas to all you revellers down under on the wrong side of the planet.
I can't imagine Christmas in the sun, it just wouldn't feel right. It's beautiful here, with snowy white trees and hedges, crisp cold air, clear blue skies above and bright sunshine across the fields, crunchy and slippery refrozen slush underfoot, gates and car door locks all frozen solid, diesel vehicles taking an age to start, the side roads all lethally unsalted and half the airing cupboard full of damp trousers and jumpers. Hmmm. Meet us at the airport?
