A word of caution for users of Apple products. There is a product called "Jailbreak".
Posted by Lenny Law on 4 July 2011 - 12:02am.
It is a product of dubious legality. It can, apparently, be used to crack open the OS on lots of Apple products; iPads, iPhones, iTV boxes and the like, enabling lots of naughty things to be done. The Wiki on it is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IOS_jailbreaking
I post this only to warn fellow bloggers of a naughty bit of software of which they will, no doubt, wish to steer well clear.
People may wish to share their horror-stories of such things. I know of dentists with iPads stuffed with expensive patient demonstration software apps which have been copied using this felonious tool.

Presumably
dentists will be working for free from now on too....
Home taping should kill the dentist industry
If I could download a £250 dentist visit from bit-torrent, I'd have no qualms whatsoever about doing it.
Jawbreak
Why pay for expensive dental surgery? We promise not to mess up your mouth (not a guarantee). Gold teeth removed for free. Second bell, ask for Ronnie.
Can be legit
There are plenty of decent law abiding folk jail breaking their iOS devices to access functions as yet unavailable through Apple. Cydia is a web store with a big selection of pay-for apps and a lot of jail breakers are using it. Personally, I've never needed a function so much I'd want to go through the hassle, and I had my first iPhone long before there was even an App Store.
Keen to hear your Handbrake experience. My Handbrake+MetaX experience as always been pretty good. DVDs slowly disappearing.
Welcome to Jazz 625
With a rare UK appearance by the legendary Felonious Tool.
