Who else is attending tomorrow night?
See you...
Down the front.
Well...
...five-rows back. Circle.
Greetings
from Row Y Stalls. Shall we have a pre/post meetup at The Dove?
I'm so there
Don't have my ticket with me to check where I am though!
Can't guarantee the Dove, but can't wait for the gig... do we know if he's acting as his own support as he did for the US tour?
The Dove
Sounds like a good idea. 630pm? Carry a copy of the Times?
Tickets say 730, so I wouldn't be arriving any later. Don't know anything about the support, but would bet on it being the same show as the US.
DG, shall we say 6pm at Krapy Rubsnif Picc Line platform? (Why are we now communicating via The WORD?)
Yup...
Dont know pocket, we've got text/hotmail/facebook/phone and 'The Word'
better than face to face though anytime...
Lets take this elsewhere and not waste these good peoples time.
coming over
from sunny Belfast for this. I'm up for a meet up, bear in mind I don't know the area at all, and don't hold with this Twitter thing.
WRT support act, according to the Apollo website, the support is Todd's Johnson. He has seemingly done an album of Robert Johnson songs, so it appears he is his own support act!
Also, seeing as how AWATS is Danny Baker's favourite album of all time, has he mentioned the show at all?
Gary
Boohoo
I think Todd was on DB's BBC London radio show yesterday. He was definitely on Iain Lee's Absolute show last night which should be podcasted.
I would love to be there but can't be. I'm moving house tomorrow and MrsDrJ is 37 weeks pregnant. Something had to give. I hope he does more AWATS shows later in the year, or a Something/Anything show.
We've been waiting so long...
If there is one concert I wish I had a ticket for, it would be this. I had my mind blown by this album when I first bought it in 1974, and wore through several copies of the vinyl album before getting it on CD.
Sadly, I don't live in the UK anymore, so will miss this. It promises to be emotional for those of you who, like me, grew up loving this album and who still hold it dear to our hearts.
