A great piece of writing indeed.
I wish I could find more of the pictures from the encounter. I have this vision in my head of Spike, replete with a false, dildo-shaped nose, chasing a giggling (yes, really) Van Morrison around his garden like a pair of toddlers playing kiss-chase.
The fact that I cannot locate said picture makes me think I might have made it up or dreamed it. And if I have, that troubles me somewhat.
