Planet of Women

A friend of mine did the PR for them a few years ago. They were a failed attempt to launch a lady version of The Darkness. Not likely to spark your interest, I fear.

I like the sound of Drugdealer Cheerleader, though.

I've always been a sucker for...

...off-the-wall bandnames.

John Cougar Concentration Camp remains an absolute fave, from some years back.

Zombina And The Skeletones

are a fantastic band. Sort of the Cramps but with better tunes. And with track titles like "Punk Rock Vampires: Destroy!" and "A Chainsaw For Christmas" what more could you want?

Plus, they're very good live. Saw them a few years back and am still fairly up to date with what they're doing musically.

Great band.
