6 minutes of blues from Amy Newton.

This young woman went down a storm at the Didmarton Bluegrass Festival a couple of years back.
Here she is playing an old standard in a pretty informal setting (the home studio). She sure can play and sing.
I can thoroughly recommend her albums, and her original material is also superb; she knocks spots off certain rivals in the singer/songwriter stakes.

That's really quite good
I've just been having a listen on her website. Some good tunes there too - I might have to invest!
Aye.
Good, dat.
Course I could play that, easy, if I had one of them pedals she's got.
And that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.
How she manages to play such heavy strings with such slender fingers is something. The ends of her digits must look like Zulu war-clubs.
