Greedy landlords are at it again. In the Noughties I was in a band who played at the 100 Club a dozen or so times, and the venue was only just about surviving at that time. Failing a "fair rent" review, it's going to need a big sponsor to keep going at all. I fear another piece of London's music history will soon be gone.
This is terrible news...
I love that venue. I saw Richard Thompson play a spellbinding show there around 10 years ago. Let's hope the situation can be resolved.
