Gig Etiquette: Celebrity edition!
Here's Brakes, featured on this month's cd, throwing their view into the ring of Gig Ettiquette. Judging by various threads here, I think many will agree with the sentiment.
Short but sweet. Any thoughts?
Surprise Birthday Party Reformation?
Just got one of seeticket's regular emails informing me of all the latest hip, hop and happening events they think i'd like to buy tickets for. Near the bottom of the list was this entry:
BIRTHDAY PARTY
A favourite of the late, great John Peel the Australian pop-punk band will be in the UK for two special dates in February. Book now!

What? Did I miss something? Nick Cave hasn't exactly been low on projects recently, and I feel the Birthday Party might lose some of their magic with 25 or so extra years on the clock and a good deal less heroin going around. I'm not even sure if they're all still alive. I'm more than a little skeptical at this point, since this email literally the only place I've seen this. Clicking through to the link doesn't convince all that much either. Anyone know anything about this?
