Can anybody tell me if the local band Southern Blues are still playing?

I know I will come across as a bit of lunatic, but I just dont understand what it is with women and James Blunt - what do they see (or hear) in him? My girlfriend plays him all the time and it drives me insane. Am I the only man that feels this way?
