Defying Gravity
Anyone catch this last on BBC2 last night? Any opinions?
I thought it was pretty entertaining in a '2001: 90210' kind of way. Although the 'more than meets the eye' angle to the mission seemed to be handled a little heavy-handedly.
New meaning for 'Bunny Boiler'?
Just saw this on the BBC News website.

Could Britain use pigeons instead?
One way to have a little fun on yet another promotional tour...
Thrust your drummer into the limelight..
Just saw this again on the television
And felt it was worthy of sharing.
Great Looking Venues
After winning a pair of tickets, I went to the iTunes Festival last night to see Snow Patrol.
It was a very enjoyable night and one thing struck me in particular - that the interior of the Camden Roundhouse, it's mass of metal and wood, looks absolutely fantastic as the lights hit it. Whenever the setlist hit it's epic moments, I didn't care at all to look at the stage, my eyes instead rising straight upwards.
So, can anyone else out there recommend any other great looking venues that go beyond the usual cavernous space?
iTunes Help
Writing this in the hope that someone in the massive might be able to give me a little bit of help with my iTunes (Version 7, if the devil is in the detail).
I've got the Complete Columbia Set of Gil Evans and Miles Davis (bought from iTunes with a gift voucher), and am trying to split the six discs so that they appear as separate albums in my iTunes list and not all lumped together.
At present, all I seem to be able to do is change the name of the one album they appear as in iTunes and make them appear countless times in the album list on my iPod.
Any ideas that might not involve me having to procure some CD-R's, burn them and re-import the albums?
And Your References Are?
I've just got my hands, digitally speaking, on The Gaslight Anthem's second album and, other than it being pretty good to my ear, I was struck how the song 'High Lonesome' lyrically referenced two other songs - Bruce Springsteen's 'I'm on Fire' in a verse and Counting Crows' 'Round Here' quite prominently in the chorus. Wikipedia says there's also a reference to a Tom Petty song, but I can't say I caught that one myself.
Anyway, what other songs can the massive think of that lyrically reference other songs? To make it a bit more selective, artists referencing their own wares don't count.
