Batman Begins ...Again

Last night Batman Begins & The Shawshank Redemption were being shown again on ITV's 1 & 2.Whilst they are both good films, they seem to be shown with amazing regularity.
Does the Massive like me, yearn for some forgotten gem which hasn't seen the light of day for many a year?
My personal list includes...
The Prize (1963) Paul Newman & the lovely Elke Sommer
Let It Be (1970) HJH
The Triple Echo (1972) Oliver Reed & Glenda Jackson
Life & Times of Judge Roy Bean (1972) Paul Newman
Perhaps there is a suggestion box at TV house, where you can email requests, like a movie Points Of View?

Karaoke Builders

brickie

We are currently undertaking a six week revamp at my place of work , here in deepest Leicester. The construction team carrying out the refit, take great delight in singing along to my I-Pod shuffle, that's blasting out in the background.
Elvis is definately king at the moment, with current favourites being "it's now or never"
"Suspicious minds"
"in the Ghetto"
"I just can't help believin'"
Can any members of this parish, suggest any different singalong specials , as my supply of Elvis is limited , and i'll probably be sick of him by wednesday.

Good Treadmill Music

I've recently purchased a treadmill to lose some my middle-age pudding, and was wondering if the massive knew any albums that perfectly compliment this exercise regime.
Chris Evans mentioned this morning, that he exercises to Abbey Road and i've tried it tonight and found it to be the best so far -
unless you know better...

Beatles For Sale

With September 9th rapidly approaching, has anyone thought of a good excuse/story on how I can justify to the FPO that spending £200 on a Beatles box of cd's that you have already bought twice before, on vinyl and in 1987 on CD,is a good idea.

Home Made Album Covers

Following Patrick's recent excellent photography thread , has anyone replicated famous album cover shots with their own snaps?
This is my version of the back cover of Power Windows by Rush.

The Alternative Prog Randomizer

Continuing the Prog theme of this month's issue why don't we do a Prog Randomizer.
You just need to open a new playlist ( Call it Beard or something ) and just drag all those 20 minute mystical behemoth's into that folder.

All I Want For Christmas Is ...?

I have been contemplating what CD's to put on my Christmas letter to Santa this year.
I am keen to investigate Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, and also because of all the recent Word reader blog activity, Richard Thompson.
If I could compile a top five album list for each artist, then that would be extremely helpful.
