Entertainment For Lively Minds

This Is England '88
Dark and disturbing in places, full of gallows humour and acted by a cast acting out of their skin. Essential entertainment for the past 3 nights, 8 out of 10 Cats this was not.
I loved it. Who else?
The Peel Player
Someone just pointed me in the direction of this....
Listen to every track from every one of Peel's Festive Fifties.
I got it via Facebook but I think you can access it without requiring a Facebook account.
AC/DC. The Status Quo it's OK to like.
The well-known ones at the front, the anonymous backline, the no-nonsense heads-down boogie, the thin-on-top old men in jeans...
It's true. AC/DC are the Status Quo it's OK to like, like unironically, man.
World Cup 2010 sweep (slight return)
This is really for Tim Tunes, winner of the World Cup sweep.
D'you fancy taking a couple of minutes to list all the CDs you were sent? I'm intrigued to see what sort of rubbish people off-loaded from their collections.
Radiohead 'These Are My Twisted Words'
Anyone heard this yet? Sounds fantastic. Apparently it was meant to be part of a 4 track ep called Wall Of Ice, but the above track leaked at the weekend, so the band made it available for free download today. You get artwork and everything with it!

Pavarotti
Why is Pavarotti on the new cover of Word?
