What ever happened to?

I'm listening to Morrissey and a song came on which reminded me of a cameo he made in a Brookside spin off, which got me thinking that I used to really fancy Tracey Corkhill.
Does anybody know what's she is at now? I'm getting a bit nostalgic now with a few glasses of wine in me!
By the way does anybody else miss Brookside? I used to watch the Saturday omnibus and my mum bringing me in eggs and chips before getting ready to go out that night. Happy days!

The worst World Cup ever?

Does anybody else feel this is a crap world cup. From the constant droning of the vuvuzelas which kills any atmosphere to the blanket defence that everybody seems to have adopted. There are no crowd shots of the fans which always added to the whole vibe of the cup.Maybe 3 good games so far isn't a great hit rate compared to previous tournaments. France getting duffed last night has been my highlight so far. What is yours?

I need your help again,Massive.

Hello all, can I enlist your services again. I have a Sony Vaio laptop. I went to log on the other day and couldn't access the internet. BT said everything was ok their end[ hence I can use my daughter's notebook now]They said the problem was the Vaio was blocking Bt from connecting to the computer.
I found a site that said it could fix this problem for £11. I would rather give this money to one of you, so if any of you can help,I will arrange a nice suprise for you. Thanks all

I'm stuck again! help!

Mrs Paintyface and I are having a house party tomorrow night. So this week has been spent cleaning and getting our child infested house halfway presentable to have people round.
My problem is I have no music organised. My query is can anyone help me with my music for the night? I have music organised for the kitchen where the men will gather but the ladies will be in the living room with only a computer for sounds. Can I make a playlist on Spotify tonight say and just hit the play button tomorrow? I am not great with technology btw so any simple solutions would be most welcome . Thanks

Tatyo

Any Norn Iron heads living on the mainland? If so, can you tell me do they sell Tatyo there now? My daughter spotted a packet in a vending machine in Coronation Street a few times now. These are our ones as well not those free state blow-ins!

Who are The Causals?

I bought a pair of jeans at the weekend and out of boredom typed the make{which I had never heard of} into google. This led me to something called Causals. I have never heard of them before but the clothes they wear are similiar to the clobber I wear. I think they are football fans from what I gather. Were/are any of the Massive Casuals or can they point me in the direction of information on them.
One of the few things I envy about the mainland is the fact that you can go to decent football matches every weekend.
For us to get to a game involves lots of time and money.

Chris Martin ,the Jamie Oliver of music.

We went to see Coldplay on Monday night in Dublin with friends who had got us tickets at 80 euros a pop. I like most of their songs and find them harmless enough although a bit annoying at times,a bit like Jamie Oliver.
BUT,this was one the worst concerts I have ever been to. Apart from the fact that they were tiny specks about a mile away, they sounded exactly like the records. No live feel to it whatsoever. Slick and rehershed to the point where there didnt seem to be any rawness in it at all.
Are all big outdoor concerts like this now,a Mcgig? No matter where in the world you see them ,they will be exactly the same. Boring shit.
P.s 80 euros was a complete rip-off.Is this normal for this sort of affair or just good old fashioned greed.
PPs where is this weeks newsletter anyone.I love the stuff in this email. I would gladly pay money for this everyweek.

Over-rated

Does anybody else out there think that the Beach Boys are a vastly over-rated band. I bought Pet Sounds recently after reading that it's a masterpiece. I thought it was rubbish bar a couple of songs. why are they lauded as rivals to the Beatles?
Is this just me or does anyone else feel the same.

THOR Hammer of the Gods.

Last night my wife and I decided to get a movie on Sky Box Office. It was my turn to choose and as I like Viking movies we went with Thor Hammer of the Gods.
After the first 10 minutes we both realised it was absolute rubbish and were going to give up on it. But having forked out £3.95 we decided to stick with it.What followed was the funniest hour and a half we have spent in a long time. From the piss poor acting to dismal CGI effects it was a hoot from start to finish. It had everything from swarthy Norsemen to dialogue so clunky I was expecting Jimmy Saville to pop up. The 3 brothers in the story all had different accents ranging from Northern English to Wow Dude American. Apart from the dreadful acting the werewolves in the story were the most pathetic I have ever seen on screen.
I though Showgirls was bad but this is worst film I have ever seen by a long way.I absolutely love crap films so can any of the massive recommend any really bad films I can watch? By the way you could do worse than spend a hour and a half of your time watching this with a few glasses of something nice. You will not be disappointed in fact I will give a money back guarantee to anyone who watches this and doesn't laugh.

Good glastonbury

I have read all the posts about Glastonbury and they were very funny but a bit cycnical. I want to start a thread about only the positive things that you seen ,be it on the box, radio or live if you were there.
I loved the Friendly Fires whom I had never heard of.
The Specials were excellent.
Maddness when my 5year old and 2 year old special needs kids danced with me in the living room on Sunday and made me cry with happiness that music can make you forget all the shit in the world for a hour or so.
