Broadcast yesterday on Radio 4 apparently. Ironic that I should learn about it (on Facebook) from a Sarth Efrican friend living in Paris, rather than on this site.

But then I may just have missed the reference completely, in which case I apologise for taking up bandwidth.

Any suggestions from you knowledgeable folk about what I should see/do while in San Francisco for the next two weeks? I'm sure that'll be more valuable than what I expect to be standard tourist info re the the beats, the summer of love, psychedelia, etc.

I'm there for work, but will have one or perhaps even two weekends to explore. (My first and quite possibly only opportunity to go. It's a long way from Australia.)

Can the massive please give me some hints as to what I should DEFINITELY try to watch or listen to while I'm in the UK (from Australia) for a few weeks in September? I'll be on the Isle of Wight so I know that live music is unlikely, but I may get to see some TV or perhaps even hear some radio.
