I have managed to get through my life so far without owning an i-pod, but have recently given in and and got one, mainly because I'm sick of listening to everyone else's on the bus on the way to work. Now I have one, I am keen to rectify a second omission from my life, namely, I have never previously listened to a Word podcast.

I downloaded the Danny Baker one last week and enjoyed every second of it. However, I now realise I have an awful lot of catching up to do.

So, where should I start? I'd be enormously grateful for your recommendations as to which Word podcasts I should listen to next.

There have been several recent threads commenting on the price of tickets and of concerts not being sold out, as well as threads in praise of Messrs Lowe and Cooder. See Tickets have a two for the price of one offer on at the moment for the Cooder/Lowe shows in Edinburgh next week. Having prevously decided to give it a miss due to the high price of tickets (£75), the two for one offer was too good to miss. We got seats in Row L of the stalls - I wonder how many tickets they'd sold up to the point of the 2/1 offer? Obviously not many.

I'll refrain from asking my neighbours at the show how much they paid for their tickets.
