In December 1975, I saw Rory Gallagher play Birmingham Town Hall. It was a filthy night and the rest of his band got stuck on the motorway and so didn't show up. Rory did a one man show to the delight of everyone. And then announced that we should all come back the next night for the full gig with his band - on the same ticket!
Dont think a bit of pigeon shite would have stopped Rory.
