Charlie Haden at the Barbican - 22 May, 2011
Argh! I need to unload tickets to a rare concert by bassist and bandleader Charlie Haden - and his Liberation Music Orchestra, including Carla Bley. They're 4th row in the stalls! But something's come up.
All the info is on the Barbican web site:
http://www.barbican.org.uk/music/event-detail.asp?ID=11998
The seats are £24 x 2 with no booking fee passed on.
Cheers,
Kerry
2 TICKETS: Loudon Wainright at the RFH - 20 May
Hi all,
I've seen the Great Loudo in concert many times; in fact, I try not to miss him. This time, I'll have to - on 20 May, I'm going to be on that there "Review Show" thing on BBC 2 - the one that everyone still calls Newsnight Review.
Anybody want to buy 2 seats in the front stalls (Row K) for the purchase price of £35? I won't pass on the booking fee.

2 tickets for Wanda Jackson and Imelda May at the Lumiere
Hi all,
I have tickets to this massively sold out Rockabilly Fest at the Luminaire in Kilburn (great venue; they have a no talking during the gigs rule) on 21 April and now, very sadly, can't attend.
Is anyone interested in taking my tickets at face value? All the details are on the Luminaire web site, including links to check out the two girls.
For those who don't know, Imelda is an Irish firebrand of a singer with an unbelievably tight band. She comes alive in concert (I saw her at the 100 Club a few months ago) and writes her own material. She recently played with Jeff Beck at the Royal Albert Hall. Wanda is the Queen of Rockabilly and Elvis's ex-girlfriend. What's not to like?
