..but I feel I must say thankyou to the Massive for some inspired blog postings.

If everything goes as it should I'll be a father for the first time in May, and the baby thread had a mix of warmth and wisdom that I don't think you'll find anywhere else on the web. This could pretty much be said for the blog in general.

I hope this goes some way towards saying thankyou, some prime-era Meters from a Dr John TV special c.1974, possibly the funkiest thing I've seen on You Tube since that Stevie Wonder doing Superstition on Sesame St clip that was on here a while back

....and it does annoy me that so many of these documentaries get the politics and world events correct but cock up the music.

So far I've seen at least four clips from the Monterey Festival, a Stones clip from 1972, and the narration has just said that Hendrix as an ex-GI was in exile in the UK in 1968..??

You wouldn't think it would take much extra research to get their facts right..
