Worth watching the whole clip, but the action hots up about the 4min mark.
Jail Guitar Doors
Just a quick heads-up for a short tour which Billy Bragg has started around some independent cinemas, showing Breaking Rocks the documentary about the Jail Guitar Doors initiative he set up. The scheme aims to supply prison inmates with guitars to help with their rehabilitation, and the film shows its formation with help from Mick Jones and Wayne Kramer amongst others.
The tour has the film, a Q and A session with Billy and the films director, sets by 2 ex-inmates who took part in the scheme, and finishes with a short set by the Bard himself. I saw the show in Newcastle last night and found the film and performances inspirational. Well worth your support.

Chuck Prophet
Saw Chuck again last night in Newcastle. As always, a fantastic live show. His band The Mission Express are on top form, and it was a great 2 hour+ set with old classics ,a great selection of covers (including a surf-adelic version of Alex Chiltons Bangkok)and some corking new stuff. As usual, he had some great banter with the audience - what a frontman!
I know there are a few C.P. fans amongst the Massive, but if anyone else gets the chance to see him - take it, you won't regret it.
His new album is a belter too...
Fabchannel Stops ...........
Just a quick heads-up for anyone who may have visited Fabchannel and enjoyed any of the live footage of bands playing at the Paradiso or Melkweg clubs in Amsterdam ..... its stops broadcasting on the 13th March.
This appears to due to an increasing amount of record companies objecting to their artists being recorded.
Bastards.
Enjoy it while you can.

I recently found this site which has some great full live concerts. Most seem to be recorded at the Paradiso in Amsterdam ,the sound and vision quality are great, and the set-lists can be easily scrolled through. You may be better off clicking on the Fabchannel logo to view in better quality, and then you can search the site. Here are a few I would highly recommend. Enjoy.
