I have a great big pile of Q magazines if anyone wants them. All from earlier than issue 200 when I stopped getting said publication in favour of other titles, that shall remain nameless. The Harry abode is in wildest Wiltshire should anyone want them.

On any normal Saturday evening any sense of dread I felt when glancing at the TV schedules - Strictly, X Factor, etc would have been quickly dissipated by the knowledge that I would easily be able to gain a leave pass to the pub. Looking out of the window this evening, however, I quickly concluded that I didn't fancy the half mile slip and slide along the tow-path to my hostelry of choice. So I've had a browse on t'net instead. Discovered a couple of good things, and one not-so. The good news items first; Daytrotter have a three track session by Ryan Bingham that is free to download. I have also happened upon a free whole-album download by a singer-songwriter of the 'Americana-ish' genre called Brett Detar. Like them both.

Bad news is the return in the New Year of fucking celebrity Dancing On Ice. Line-up is on Digital Spy. Ah well, looking on the bright side, more tow-path expeditions in 2011.

Oh, yes and the free REM track. s'alright.

and I think something has gone wrong with my TV. I've had to turn the volume right down because it would appear that a housefly and his family have got stuck behind my speakers. And it's giving me a migraine. It doesn't appear to be affecting other channels though.

Just what you want on a Sunday morning. A dirty protest. Super son crapped himself this morning. Rather than seek help from a parent he decided to catapult the contents of his pants all round the playroom. Why does shit stick so well to carpet? And walls? And toys? And fireplaces?............... and the underside of fingernails and, therefore, computer keyboar.........................
