Eno - "my voice is like a pencil...
... but I like line drawing so that's okay."
Who else but Brian (I got the feeling of icebergs) Eno.
Apologies if this has been posted here before, but great Eno interview on NPR.

Nice look back at some of his 70s stuff, and then a build up to the new album, which from the two tracks I've heard sounds really interesting and different for him.

Me, I'll be there!
The new edition
Arrived today - yipee.
Nice front cover that sums up the season well, although I have to say it is two people I would never have put together. Does make the mind think though. Well done again.
For those who want more reviews

So, we can all keep reading Word, and not worry too much about missing new things.
NPR does it again - David Byrne and Joanna Newsom, but not together
Many of you will doubtless be familiar with the joys of npr.org, but at the moment you can download a full Joanna Newsome concert as a podcast to cherish in additon to the albums; and listen to the new David Byrne album in full before it is released. Enjoy.
Is this a new record shop trick?
I was in an independent record shop yesterday (saturday) and they were selling the new vampire weekend album, which I thought was coming out on Monday. That made me remember the same thing happening in another independent shop with the Lily Allen album, ie selling it the weekend before the offical release. So I was wondering, is this a new trick to get us back to independent stores, or physical product?
