Of all Joni Mitchell's albums it's 'For The Roses' that I go back to most often. Almost as stark as 'Blue' and only slightly less resigned, nevertheless I draw fresh strength from it everytime. She's recently become characterised as a 'grumpy old woman' which I personally think is bollocks but there you go. Anyway, just incase anyone on here has been put off Joni because of this FTR is currently available for less than 4 quid on Amazon. You won't regret it!

Have been having a peek at Jill Sobule's site every now and then to see how she was doing in attempting to raise $75,000 to make her next record. The issue was debated a little on this site you may recall. Well, it would appear she has hit her target!

Just wanted to big this up from your Blog Roll. It really is the best thing i've come across on the internet for a long time. Only just got round to subscribing a couple of weeks ago and wasn't expecting the amount of extremely entertaining emails i'd get in my inbox. Well worth investigating. I recommend the archives too, just read the Celine Dion Tickets post - priceless! Although it made me feel slightly bad too as i'm gonna be trying to put some money in Bruce's pocket, 6 months in advance of the gig, tomorrow!!
