I have finally sucumbed to the Mono Box set of the HJHs.

Can anyone point me to a website which details the variations that appear in the mono versions?

Yes have just announced that they will be joining the list of rock bands who have selected a member of a tribute band as their new lead singer (step up Journey and Judas Priest, and probably lots more).
