I was lucky enough to see Hank Wangford & Reg Meuross play a set at my village hall recently as part of their 169 date (so far) 'No hall too small' tour, partly funded by the Arts Council. I have to say Reg is a brilliant banjo player & Hank is a star, keeping the audience (average age 174) up way past bedtime.

I gave Hank a lift from the local Travel Lodge to the local station the next day and despite some initial difficulties around finding his ticket, the seasoned traveller, Arsenal Season ticket holder, Doctor and Country Ambassador hopefully found his way back to London with his guitar, luggage and miserable songs.

A great gig - don't miss if they're in your area. The 'standard lamp of fame' takes some beating in the field of pyrotechnics.
