My daughter (almost 7) is a High School Musical obsessive as are most of her peers. She likes ABBA, a couple of Arctic Monkey tracks (I'm happy with that) but the songs of HSM rule. And to make matters worse Simon Cowell thinks HSM is brilliant...

So my question is - how do I persuade my daughter that the music I listen to is 'better' for her soul. Or do I have to wait for her to grow up?

By the way my 3 year old son's favourite track is Monkey Man by The Specials. There's hope for the Fandang line....
