Sorry for yet another football thread, I would guess we are not allowed tp speculate here as to whether he is guilty or not, but what sort of punishment is he facing if proven guilty. A fine, slap on the wrists, imprisonment? I've not seen this explained anywhere.

Yes, a mere 324 artists, I'm sure some of you have many more. Averages out at 4.39 albums and 55.23 songs per artist.

Not particularly revealing but I wonder how typical I am amongst The Word Massive.

(Note this doesn't include well over 1,000 vinyl albums and singles that stubbornly remain undigitised).

Going to give my liver a rest after the "festivities", aim is to manage a month starting some time in the first week of 2012. I try to do this most years. I believe a certain Mr Ellen has been known to take a break too.

I have seen a number of recent threads talking about TV shows, buying TVs, iPlayer questions, how to connect laptop to TV etc. It seems to be a preoccupation of a significant number of the massive.

So how much TV do you watch in a week? Personally, I'm probably at about 10-12 hrs (much less than I used to watch). Often days go by when I watch nothing. For a few weeks earlier this year I was without a TV and I didn't really miss it.

Do you think you watch too much or too little? Anybody here who doesn't own a TV?

... so much that I bought the app (I have the receipt to prove it), I have since had to restore my iPhone and, silly me, I forgot to back up the app on my PC. I can no longer download it.

In a slight follow up to the Queen podcast what are the most obsessive, disturbing fan's message boards, forums, blogs etc?

Here's a couple I have lurked on in the past:

Dylan : expectingrain.com, they will listen to 100s or even 1000s of live bootlegs to find the best versions of every song he ever released.

Springsteen : backstreets.com, on one thread they have been trying to decide the best song at one NYC show, that's fair enough, but the thread has lasted 2 yrs! No discussion just votes.

There must be many others ...

I remember when this compilation came out (early 80s?), an NME review at the time said something like "this is the greatest music ever made". Maybe he had a point...
